Discipline and tenacity are admirable qualities. I am inspired to read about these in the Putting on Your Shoes book. In these days where it is too easy to same 'I'm done!" or 'I am so over this!", it is awesome to…

In these days where it is too easy to same 'I'm done!" or 'I am so over this!", it is awesome to hear someone say I'm gonna keep going, and do it! This has inspired me to document and "enjoy spiritual and intellectual uplifts", words from my Great, great, great grandmother who I am named after. I love day two "do it again or don't" it's a powerful statement as well as question. Do you have the guts to do it again? And it's a reminder that the Goal is chosen each and each and every day. I loved your nod to the next day: next Monday etc. I find myself saying that so much until I realize I'm running out of time. Next year I'll build that garden and six years later it's not done.the making a living or making a life chapter stung. At 58 I worked. Made other people money. I worked so much that I couldn't tell you anything about my youngest daughter as a child. I wasn't there raising her. I was too busy working. For me being married was another obstacle and obligation. All the money I made went to cover up the mistakes my husband made: over drawing the checking account to get alcohol. His not going to work so my hard earned money was "makeup " money. Making up for him not going to work! This chapter was the butt whooping I needed to remind myself that there is still time to live! Get out there and do it! And Living in the Gap!! Dang what a powerful thought!! This book needs to be in the hands of everyone!
